Format of the competition will be as follows :

• Foursomes or Fourballs Matchplay at Sale
• Fourballs or Foursomes Matchplay at Davyhulme
• Individual Matchplay at a neutral venue

It will be teams of at least 6 for each round and scores for the 3 rounds will be added together to determine the winners, who will receive a trophy to keep until next season.

An initial draw will be made between the 2 captains to determine the venue and format of the 1st of the 3 ties, which will also determine the venue and format of the 2nd tie. The third tie will be individual matchplay with a neutral venue still to be decided.

First tie to be played before the end of May
Second tie to be played before the end of July
Third tie to be played by the end of September
